Rules

THE NUMBERS FOR THE FOOTBALL SQUARES WILL BE SELECTED WHEN THE GRID IS FILLED.

How it works:

Once all the squares have been selected we will randomly generate numbers from 0-9 for each team in the football game and assign that number to a particular row or column. These numbers represent the last number in the score of each team. In other words, if the score is AFC 17 – NFC 14, then the winning square is the one with an AFC number of 7, and an NFC number of 4.  Another thing we are doing to give you more chances to win is every time the score changes what ever the score is will pay out $10.

Then, whatever was left in the pot at the end of the each quarter would be split between the regular score and the reverse score. The benefit of this more frequent pay-out schedule is that more people win and end up interested in the game. Even your Aunt who just came for the gossip and commercials will be rooting for a team to kick a field goal.

Just so everyone knows that whoever has square 0, 0 wins $10 at kick-off! Then, when the score changes, whoever has the square for that score wins $10! This happens each time there’s a field goal, a touchdown, a point-after touchdown, a safety, or a 2-point conversion. Each time the number changes, somebody gets paid.

Yes, a touchdown should result in two $10 pay outs. 10 dollars for the 6-point change (touchdown), and $10 for the 1-point change (PAT)! This way touchdowns are more exciting than field goals. Just like in the game. And whoever has the number with the PAT will be pissed if the kicker misses. haha

Example Pay Out

If the NL team score a field goal first (3 pts), then whoever has NL 3, AL 0 wins $10!

Then, let’s say the AL reply by scoring a touchdown (6 pts). Whoever’s name is written in the square with NL 3, AL 6 wins $10.  Naturally, the AL will likely kick a PAT (point after touchdown, 1 pt). So whoever has NL 3, AL 7 ALSO wins $10!

Winnings Breakdown for Squares(if full board is filled)

  • End of 1st Quarter: $250 for regular score and $250 for reverse score
(whats left of $10 pay outs from score changes) For example if you had 5 score changes in 1st quarter that would pay $50 out to people and then would be split between whats left for reg score and reverse score for quarter so who ever has final score at end of quarter for reg score$225.  Feel free to contact me if you need more explanation.
  • End of 2nd Quarter: $375 for regular score and $375 for reverse score
(whats left of $10 pay outs from score changes)
  • End of 3rd Quarter: $250 for regular score and $250 for reverse score
(whats left of $10 pay outs from score changes)
  • End of Game: $375 for regular score and $375 for reverse score
(whats left of $10 pay outs from score changes)
