Jeremy looks to rebound from disappointing Memorial Weekend

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Jeremy was looking forward to going to Pevely and Jacksonville over the Memorial weekend.  the night started out with a 48 pill draw which had Jeremy starting last in the heat race.  Jeremy raced his way into 6th and earned enough points to transfer in the feature.  Jeremy and crew tightened the car up a little too much and Jeremy was waiting for the car to come in towards the end of the race.  Unfortunately, Jeremy clipped the wall coming off turn for and bent the jacobs ladder and ended up with a DNF.  On to Jacksonville, Jeremy drew a 1 but qualifying was in tact.  Jeremy qualified 16th and went from 6th to 5th in the heat and made the invert.  He lined up 15th in the feature and track was pretty fast for everyone.  There wasn’t much passing and Jeremy ended up with a 14th place finish.

The team will regroup and prepare for Macon and Lincoln which Jeremy usually has a good runs at.  He is looking to turn his luck around and get the monkey off his back and turn this season around.  Hope to see all the great fans this coming week.  StandridgeMotorsports would also like to thank all of our great sponsors, Hinchman racing Uniforms, Canham Graphics, Tax Team, Modern Paving and Scrap and of course all his family and friends for the support.
